The new teaser trailer for The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14 shows Sheree Whitfield sitting down with show alum Apollo Nida. As the new reigning OG on the franchise, Sheree is making sure to return with a bang. As she prepares to be reunited with her boyfriend, Tyrone Gilliams, formerly incarcerated inmate Apollo meets with Sheree to offer his advice. It's the first time Apollo has appeared on the show since his messy split from fired housewife Phaedra Parks.
With Sheree returning, a lot of old tea will be revisited on RHOA. Sheree was among the original cast members in season 1 alongside NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann. A lot has changed since Sheree last appeared in season 10. Joining Sheree for RHOA season 14 are returning housewives Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora. Newcomer Sanya Richards-Ross is making her debut, while longtime friend Marlo Hampton has finally secured her peach and is now a full-time housewife.
This week, Bravo released an official teaser trailer for RHOA season 14 that shows Sheree meeting with Phaedra's ex-husband, Apollo, over coffee. “When the guys come home [after being incarcerated], they just s*** all over the woman,” Apollo tells Sheree. The conversation appears to be a prerequisite to Sheree reuniting with Tyrone. During filming, there were reports that Tyrone became upset with Sheree for potentially jeopardizing his freedom because of the show. Upon Tyrone's release early last year, he was sent to a halfway house and put on strict probation. Filming a reality show is the last thing Tyrone would likely receive permission to participate in.
Their rumored breakup left fans wondering what Sheree would focus on for her RHOA season 14 storyline. But from the looks of the trailer, there is plenty of drama for viewers to enjoy. Another clip shows Sheree getting into a shade-throwing match with Drew. Sheree is also seen teasing her She By Sheree line, which fans are waiting to find out if the "Spring Summer" collection will finally be released. Sheree also appears to get snubbed by Tyrone after he failed to show up to meet her. A clip shows Marlo consoling Sheree as she seemingly cries over the impending breakup. Other clips show Marlo introducing her life as the caregiver to her two nephews.
Marlo is also seen getting into it with Kenya and Kandi in two separate showdowns. It also looks like Drew and newbie Sanya become at odds, with Sanya reminding Drew of her four Olympic gold medals. Meanwhile, Drew and her husband, Ralph Pittman, have more marital woes to sort out on the show. The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14 looks like it will reignite the fire back into the popular franchise following a lackluster season 13. Despite the absence of Porsha Williams, NeNe and Cynthia Bailey, the cast is bringing the drama that is sure to reel in viewers.
