Here is the cast of the Netflix film Hypnotic. Released on October 27, 2021, the thriller film Hypnotic is directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote, from a screenplay written by Richard D’Ovidio. The film takes on the age-old practice of hypnotherapy and twists it into something novel yet disturbing.
Hypnotic follows Jenn Thompson, a software engineer who experiences personal and professional struggles, which lead her to seek help from a psychiatrist, Dr. Collin Meade. As she continuously attends sessions with him, she begins to see improvement in her life. However, eventually, she starts to question what is really going on, especially when she unearths the identities of Collin’s previous patients, leading to Hypnotic’s surprising identity twist in the end.
Unfortunately, despite the intriguing premise, Hypnotic has been unfavorably received by critics. Currently, the film holds a critic rating of 36% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 11 reviews, with a 17% audience rating. Most reviews point out the untapped potential of the film, hindered by the conventional horror formula. Nevertheless, its stellar acting saves the day, and with that said, here is the powerhouse cast of Netflix’s Hypnotic.
